How to apply for Assam Agricultural University Veterinary Entrance Test 2018
Eligible candidates can apply online for AAU VET 2018 through Assam Agricultural University website http://cld.aau.ac.in/ from April 24, 2018 to May 31, 2018. The applicant must select the course to be pursued before registration. During registration applicant must upload his/her scanned photograph and signature to complete the registration process.
Students will pay Rupees 1,100.00/- towards ‘Application and Test Fee’ through online payment gateway integrated with the Application Form.

• AAU VET 2018 admit card can be downloaded from- June 08, 2018 onwards

AAU VET 2018 eligibility criteria
Age limit– Candidate must have attained the minimum age of 17 years and the maximum age of 25 years (30 years for Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or other Backward Class candidates) on or before the 31st December of the examination year.
Educational qualification– Candidate should have passed 10 +2 Examination with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English (as a core course) with 50 % marks in aggregate of thee subjects. appearing candidates in qualifying exam can also apply.
Applicant have certificates of Permanent Residence of Assam and wards of defence/Para-military personnel posted in the State of Assam for at least one year only are eligible to apply for VET 2018.
AAU VET 2018 exam pattern
The VET 2018 will be held in Guwahati, Jorhat and Biswanath Chariali only. The entrance examination shall be of two hours duration and shall comprise of three parts, viz., Biology (Botany & Zoology) 60 Marks, Chemistry 45 marks and Physics 45 marks. The question papers shall consist of 150 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total marks secured.
The questions for the entrance examination will be of objective type based on 10+2 level (Science Stream).
