Clemson, which has been the target of a massive student protest over the weekend, is showing signs of improving its reputation with the public.
The university says its student body has increased from 8,000 to 10,000 in the past four years.
But the Associated Press reported Friday that the university is now admitting about one-third of its students and its student population is growing.
The AP also said the university admits only about 40 percent of applicants.
Here are some things to know about the admissions report.
The College Scoreboard has dropped in Auburn.
Clemson is no longer ranked among the nation’s best public universities, according to the College Scorecard.
That is a big blow for the school, which had been the No. 1 public university for five consecutive years.
Clemson’s scores are now below those of its peers in California and Texas.
The Clemson University Board of Trustees voted to end its relationship with the scorecard in 2016.
The board said the methodology of the rankings was flawed and the scores were based on a sample of the nation.
Auburn’s population has dropped from 8.5 million in 2015 to 7.7 million in 2017.
Auburn has had a steady decrease in its black enrollment.
The school’s black enrollment is now 17.7 percent.
The numbers are even worse among whites, who are now 18.4 percent of the total population.
The college board said its goal was to “focus on the diversity of our student body and student experience.”
But its enrollment statistics are more telling.
Auburn enrolled more black students in its freshman year in 2019 than in the previous two years combined.
It is still a little over half white students, but it has dropped by nearly 10 percent since the fall of 2016.
Auburn is the only school in the nation to admit only about 10 percent of its applicants.
The other schools admit more students.
The remaining 95 percent of applications are accepted.
The average SAT score of applicants is about 2400.
The SAT, the most widely used test in high school, has dropped significantly from the early 2000s, when it was about 1340.
The scores of applicants have also declined, even as the number of applicants has grown.
The test is no more predictive of a college admission than the SAT, and the SAT score is no better than a general reading or math test.
The Auburn admissions report doesn’t mention that a record 6,000 students have been admitted to the university since it began accepting applications in 2015.
The number is up from about 5,000 a year ago.
Auburn now admits only a quarter of its freshman applicants.
Auburn won’t disclose how many students it admits or how many of those students are black.
A total of 13.8 percent of students in the university’s Class of 2019 are black or African-American.
The state of Mississippi has the nation on pace to admit more black applicants than any other state, according the NAACP.
The Associated Press has also published an interview with the school’s chief academic officer, Jonathan Butler.
Butler said that the numbers reported by the AP were “not accurate.”
The University of Mississippi reported that the number for African-Americans in its Class of 2021 dropped to just 1.8% of its student-body.
That compares to the national average of 2.6%.
The admissions report does not mention that the average SAT scores of students applying to the school have dropped.
Clemson has a higher graduation rate than any of the schools in the top 50 states, according The Washington Post.
The national average graduation rate for white students is 67.3 percent.
Of the students who enter Clemson, 88.6 percent will graduate from college.
Only 3.3% of the students applying for admission to the Auburn University Class of 2022 have taken the SAT or ACT.
The students who do not have the ability to take the tests are more likely to drop out, which can lead to a poor graduation rate.
Clemson also has a lower graduation rate among blacks than the rest of the country.
The racial makeup of the Auburn enrollment is the same as the national population.
The majority of the African- American students who enroll in the school are admitted.
The overall enrollment in the Class of 2020 is 6,800.
The class of 2021 is 6.4 million.
The percentage of African- Americans who will graduate college is still far higher than the national median.
Only about 10% of students who graduate from high school graduate.
Auburn enrolls about one in five students with disabilities, and that number is likely to increase, according Clemson.
Auburn will continue to accept applications from all students, and it will continue its efforts to make diversity and inclusion a priority in the admissions process.
