It was a busy Friday morning at Auburn University, where car rental companies were busy signing up new customers.
But when the students arrived at their cars, they weren’t expecting to find them parked outside the entrance.
“I was hoping it would be a little bit more peaceful,” said Ashley Schulz, a freshman.
The first thing the students found when they entered their car was an entrance sign, with the word “car rental” in bright red.
Auburn’s cars are usually booked up for six months, and the company is now offering a new program that allows people to rent cars for three months at a time.
At Auburn, the new program will let students rent cars up to three months.
But this program is a way for students to have the opportunity to rent a car without the need to pay a deposit.
In other words, the program is available to anyone, regardless of their financial status.
“I think that’s a really exciting opportunity to be able to rent your own car and to get the benefit of it,” said sophomore Alex Ochsner.
Students who want to rent their own car can sign up for the program at the Auburn Car Rental Center, located at the west entrance of the campus.
It costs $60 per month and costs $200 to rent one car.
For those who want a car to drive them to class, the rental program is currently open to anyone who is 18 or older, regardless if they are attending college.
They must also be at least 21 years old.
Students who rent a vehicle are also allowed to keep it for two years after the lease is up.
According to the company, the student can use the car at any time.
It can also be a way to help pay off loans, as well as help fund the purchase of a home or car.
