The Director of Medical Education Assam is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for admission into MBBS and BDS courses offered by Medical and dental Colleges of Assam and Regional Dental College Guwahati for academic session 2018-2019. Admission will be made on the basis of the NEET score only followed by counselling conduct by the designated college or institute.

How to apply for Assam MBBS BDS courses admission 2018

For eligible candidates Application Forms are available at official website www.dmeassam.gov.in from July 2018 onward. Submit the duly filled up and signed Application Form along with relevant and valid documents to the Office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 at Examination Cell (2nd d Floor, Room No-5,) on or before the last date specified during Office hours by hand only.

Assam MBBS BDS courses admission 2018 counselling schedule

The counselling process will be held at the Office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam Sixmile Khanapara, Guwahati-22 as per the below mentioned Schedule-

• First round of counselling date-   July, 2018
• Last date of joining the college after first round of counselling date- July, 2018
• Second round of counselling date-  August, 2018
• Last date of joining the college after Second round of counselling date-  August, 2018
• Mop up round date- August, 2018

Assam MBBS BDS courses admission 2018 eligibility criteria

Age limit– Applicant should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, 2018.

Educational qualification– Candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and English. Candidates should secure the required cut-off scores in National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG -2018 (as per conducted by CBSE, New Delhi.
