Pay scale- Rs. 5200 to 20200 under Pay Band- I + Grade Pay Rs. 2000 according to 6th pay commission.
How to apply for Bihar Police Constable recruitment 2017
Eligible candidates can apply online through CSBC official website i.e. http://csbc.bih.nic.in on or before 30 August 2017. Application fee of Rs. 450 + Taxes as applicable for Gen/OBC/EC category and Rs. 112 + Taxes as applicable for SC/ST candidates can be paid online.
Bihar Police Constable recruitment 2017 eligibility criteria
Age limit– Application age must be between 18 to 25 years (maximum 27 years for OBC /EBC male candidates and 28 for OBC/EBC female candidates) (maximum 30 years for SC/ST candidates) and relaxation of 5 years in upper age is permissible for Home guards as on 1 June, 2017.
Educational qualification– Candidate must passed intermediate (10+2) exam or have Moulvi certificate issued by Bihar Madarsa board/Shastri Certificate (with English)/ Acharya Certificate (without English) issued by Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board or any other equivalent qualification can apply for Bihar Police Constable recruitment 2017.
For Female candidates– Height- 155 CMS for all candidates
For Male candidates–
- Height- 165 CMS for General/OBC candidates, 162 CMS for EBC category, 160 CMS for SC/ST candidates and 158 CMS for Gorkha community.
- Chest: 81 Centimeter (Unexpanded) to 86 Centimeters (expanded) for General/OBC/EBC candidates, 79 Centimeter (Unexpanded) to 84 Centimeters (expanded) for SC/ST/Indian Gorkha candidates
Bihar Police Constable recruitment 2017 selection process
Selection will be made on the basis of the written exam followed by physical efficiency test and interview.
Written examination will be of 2 hours consisting of 100 questions based on 10+2 syllabus of 100 marks. Candidates must have to secure minimum 30% marks to get quantified in exam.
Candidates who successfully passed the written examination and physical standard will be called for physical efficiency test.
