Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar is inviting online applications for admission to B.Sc (H) Agriculture, B.Sc (H) Home Science, B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), M.Sc. & M.Tech Programmes from  April, 2018 and for Ph.D. Programmes from  December, 2018 offered by university and its affiliated colleges for academic session 2018-2019. How to apply for CCS Haryana Agriculture Aptitude Test 2018

Eligible candidates can apply online through university website http://hau.ernet.in/ and from also on http://ccshau.mycollegeform.com/ on or before the last date specified against payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/BC/Economically backward Persons in the General castes) per admission form to be deposited in concerned account.

Candidates applying for B.Sc. (H) Agriculture 6-years programme can submit the application form with Late fee of Rs. 200/- on or after the last date through crossed bank draft issued in favour of Registrar, CCSHAU, Hisar, payable at Hisar.

For Candidates applying for B.Sc. (H) Agriculture 6-year (2+4) programme and B.Sc. (H) Home Science 6-year (2+4) programme the Prospectus shall also be on sale in Room No. 202, Academic Branch, Fletcher Bhawan, CCSHAU, Hisar against payment of Rs. 1000/- for General Category and Rs. 250/- for SC/BC/EBPG Category.

CCS Haryana Agriculture Aptitude Test 2018 eligibility criteria

B.Sc. (H) Agriculture (4 years) course– 10+2 or equivalent having passed with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Math or Agriculture stream from a recognized University/Board with 50% marks in 10+2 (relaxable up to 47.5% for SC candidates). Candidate must be minimum 16 years as on 31.08.2018.

B.Sc. (H) Agriculture (6 years) course– Matric with 60% marks (relaxable up to 57% for SC candidates) from a recognized Board. Age limit- Minimum 14 years as on 31.08.2018

B.Tech. (Agriculture engineering) – 10+2 Examination from any recognized board/ university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 50% marks (47.5% for Scheduled Caste candidates). Age limit- Minimum 16 years as on 31.08.2018

B.Tech (Agriculture engineering) Under Lateral Entry Scheme– Diploma in Agriculture engineering/Food Technology/ Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering

B.Sc. (H) Home Science 4-year programme– Pass 10+2 exam or equivalent from any stream with 50% marks (relaxable up to 47.5% for SC candidates) from a recognized Board/University. Preference will be given to the candidates coming from science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Math/Biology. Age limit: Minimum 16 years as on 31.08.2018

B.Sc. (H) Home Science 6-year programme– Matric with 50% marks (relaxable up to 47.5% for SC candidates) from a recognized Board. Age limit- Minimum 14 years as on 31.08.2018

For Master Program eligibility criteria

For MBA (Agribusiness) program– B.Sc. (H) Ag./Hort./Forestry/Home Sc., Dairy Sc., Fisheries, B.Sc (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, B.Tech (Agriculture engineering), B.V.Sc. & A.H. and the qualification as prescribed by the State Counseling Board Haryana

For M.Sc. Food Sc. & Technology program- Bachelor’s degree in Science/Agriculture/Home Science/Agriculture Engineering/FST/Food Technology

For M.Sc. programs– B.Sc. (H) Agriculture/B.Sc. degree from recognized college or university in respective discipline

For M. Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) – B.Tech/B.E degree from recognized college or university in Agriculture Engineering.

For M. Sc. Home Science- B.Sc. (H) Home Science /B.Sc. Home Science of 4 years duration shall be given preference over the students with Home Science degree of 3 years duration.

CCS Haryana admission 2018 admission process

Admission process for Under Graduate Programme

For B.Sc. (H) Agriculture 4 year Programme and 6 year program candidate have to appear in Entrance Test (ET)/ Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT) to be held at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University. There is no Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. (H) Home Science both in 4-year and 6-year programme.

For B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) Admission will be made on the basis of merit in the JEE (Mains) 2018 and on the basis of LEET 2017 (Lateral Engineering Entrance Test).

Admission process for Postgraduate Programme

For M.Sc Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Plant Physiology, Microbiology, Zoology, Food Science & Technology and M.Sc. Agriculture (In all disciplines) admissions will be made on the basis of the Common Entrance Test (CET) to be held at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University.

CCS Haryana Agriculture Aptitude Test 2018 test pattern

Test pattern for B.Sc. (H) Agriculture- 4 year programme – Duration of the exam will be 3 hours (30 minutes are for completing pre-examination formalities and 2 ½ hours for solving question paper. Test paper will consist of 200 questions of 100 marks from following subjects. No negative marking.
• Biology or Math or Agriculture- 100 questions (50 marks)
• Physics- 50 questions (25 marks)
• Chemistry- 50 questions (25 marks)

Test paper for B.Sc. (H) Agriculture- 6 year programme– Duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes (30 minutes are for completing pre-examination formalities and hours for solving question paper. Test paper will consist of 100 questions of 100 marks from following subjects. No negative marking.

• General Science- 40 questions (40 marks)
• Maths- 40 questions (40 marks)
• General English- 20 questions (20 marks)
