Delhi Polytechnic Admission 2018- Delhi CET 2018 registration starts from 20 March

Department of Training & Technical Education (DTTE) is inviting online applications for Common Entrance Test 2018  for admission Admission to Full Time Diploma courses in Polytechnics/Institutes affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Delhi for academic session 2018 – 2019. Delhi Polytechnic Admission 2018 test details

Total five tests are going to conducts as follows under Delhi Polytechnic Common Entrance Test 2018

TEST- 1: For Engineering/Technology based Diploma Courses & Occupational Courses: Architectural Assistant ship, Art for Drawing Teacher, Automobile Engineering, Cosmetology and Health, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Construction Technology), Civil Engineering (Public Health & Environmental Engineering), Computer Engineering, Commercial Art/Applied Art, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering (Digital Electronics), Electronics Engineering (Medical Electronics), Fashion Design, Garment Fabrication Technology, Information Technology Enabled Services and Management (ITES&M), Instrumentation & Control, Interior Design, Library & Information Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Maintenance Engineering), Medical Laboratory Technology, Polymer Technology, Printing Technology, Production Engineering, Textile Design, Tool & Die Making.

TEST- 2: For Diploma Course in Modern Office Practice–English
TEST- 3: For Diploma Course in Modern Office Practice–Hindi
TEST- 4: For Diploma Course in Pharmacy
TEST- 5: For Lateral Entry (For admission directly in 2nd Year)

Delhi Polytechnic Admission 2018 Eligibility criteria

Delhi CET 2018 TEST- 1

Candidate passed 10th class of 10+2 System or Matric or any other examination recognized as equivalent to 10th class examination, conducted by CBSE with minimum 35% aggregate in Science, Mathematics & English can apply For Engineering/Technology based Diploma Courses & Occupational Courses.

Delhi CET 2018 TEST- 2

Candidate passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi in any stream of 10+2 (Academic) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate of best three subjects including English can apply for Modern Office Practice (English).

Delhi CET 2018 TEST- 3

Candidate passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi in any stream of 10+2 (Academic) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate of best three subjects including Hindi can apply for Modern Office Practice (Hindi).

Delhi CET 2018 TEST- 4

Candidate passed the Senior School Certificate Examination (Class-XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other examination recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate exam of the CBSE with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry & either Biology or Mathematics can apply for Diploma in Pharmacy Course (excluding the candidates appeared/passed through National Institute of Open Schooling). Candidate passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry & either Biology or Mathematics/English can apply for one year certificate course.

Delhi CET 2018 TEST- 5

The candidate should have passed analogous Stream pass outs / ITI pass outs against 12th Vocational (Engg.) stream of CBSE with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of best five subjects for which marks are reflected in the mark sheet OR Passed 10th class of CBSE or equivalent + 2 years ITI (Engg) from ITI s/ITCs must be from Institutes located in Delhi and affiliated to DGE&T/BTE with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all subjects reflected in mark sheet.

How to apply for Delhi Polytechnic Admission 2018

Delhi CET 2018 online application form can be submitted at Websites: https://www.cetdelhiexam.nic.in from 20 March 2018 to 19 April 2018. Aadhar number of the candidate is mandatory for online submission of application form for CET 2018.

Application fee (in Indian Rupees) for Delhi CET 2018 is Rs 400/- + Rs 15/- bank charges + Rs 3/- (service tax) can be paid through any credit/debit card/ net banking/e-wallet/SBI Buddy/Cashless payment/ e-challan. The fee may be submitted by e-challan in any branch of Corporation Bank in India.

Delhi CET 2018 important dates

  • Last date to apply for Delhi CET 2018 Online-  19 April 2018
  • Delhi CET 2018 exam dates- 26 May 2018 (For Test- 3,5,2) and 27 May (1,4)
  • Delhi CET 2018 result announcement date- 14 June, 2018

Delhi CET 2018 test pattern

The Test Booklet will contain 150 objective-type questions in all. Each question will be provided with four alternative answers. In Pharmacy, there will be total 210 questions, out of which the students have to attempt 150 questions by opting 60 questions either from Mathematics or from Biology. Each question shall carry four (04) marks. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers. One (01) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Test-1- 27-05-2018 (SUNDAY) (10.00 A.M. To 12.30 P.M)– For All 10th based Diploma Courses.Engg /Non Engg. There will be total 150 questions as per CBSE syllabus for class IX Exam held in 2017/2018 from below mentioned subjects.

Mathematics- 50 Questions
Physics- 40 Questions
Chemistry- 30 Questions
Biology- 15 Questions
English- 15 Questions

Test-2- 26-05-2018 (Saturday) (2.00 P.M. To 4.30 P.M)– For Modern Office Practice English (12th based). There will be total 150 questions as per CBSE syllabus for class XII Exam held in 2017/2018 from below mentioned subjects.

Comprehension of English including Grammar- 60 Questions
Knowledge of Current Affairs- 45 Questions
Logical & Analytical Ability- 45 Questions

Test-3- 26-05-2018 (Saturday) (10.00 A.M. To 12.30 P.M)– For Modern Office Practice Hindi (12th based). There will be total 150 questions as per CBSE syllabus for class XII Exam held in 2017/2018 from below mentioned subjects.

Comprehension of Hindi including Grammar- 60 Questions
Knowledge of Current Affairs- 45 Questions
Logical & Analytical Ability- 45 Questions

Test-4- 27-05-2018 (Sunday) (2.00 P.M. To 4.30 P.M)– For Pharmacy (12th based). There will be total 210 questions as per CBSE syllabus for class XI Exam held in 2017 and CBSE syllabus and for Class XII Exam held in 2018.

Physics- 45 Questions
Chemistry- 45 Questions
Mathematics- 60 Questions or Biology- 60 Questions

Test-5- 26-05-2018 (Saturday) (10.00 A.M. To 12.30 P.M)– For Pharmacy (12th based). There will be total 150 questions as per CBSE syllabus for class XI and for Class XII Exam held in 2018.

Physics- 30 Questions
Mathematics- 30 Questions
Chemistry-30 Questions
Biology -30 Questions
English- 15 Marks
General Aptitude- 15 Marks
