DU FMS admission 2018 for MBA/Doctoral programmes

Faculty of Management Studies is inviting online applications for admission to MBA (Full-Time), Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.), MBA Executive & MBA Executive (Health Care Administration) Programmes. Total number of seats in MBA Executive and MBA Executive (Health Care Administration) programmes are 172 and 42 respectively, including supernumerary seats for PWD and CW category candidates.

DU FMS admission 2018 eligibility criteria

For MBA Executive– Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree programme with minimum 45% aggregate marks or equivalent grades in any of the disciplines such as Arts, Commerce, Social Sciences, Sciences, Mathematics/Statistics, Medicine, Engineering or Technology along with at least five years of experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial/government establishment/registered organization.

For MBA Executive (Health Care Administration) – Candidate must have passed Bachelor degree with minimum 45% aggregate or equivalent in any discipline such as Medicine (MBBS) /Dentistry(BDS) /Biotechnology/Genomics / Genetics/Nursing/Bio engineering/Alternative Systems of Medicine/Paramedical Discipline/Pharmacology/ Anthropology/Zoology or an examination recognized as equivalent with least five years of experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial/Industrial/government establishment /registered organization.

To apply for both above courses candidate should be either sponsored or produce a “No Objection Certificate” to pursue the programme from his/her present employer.

For MBA Programme– Candidates applying for admission to the MBA programme must have pursued at least a Bachelor’s with at least 50% marks (45% for (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/CW candidates) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor’s Degree may also apply.

For Doctoral programme– Candidate must have obtained a Master’s/M. Phil. degree of the University of Delhi, or any other recognized University, or a Post-graduate Degree in an allied subject equivalent with minimum of 55% marks. Candidates having a MBA /Master’s Degree in an allied subject from University of Delhi or equivalent would be required to write the CAT 2017 for admission to the Ph.D. programme.

How to apply for DU FMS admission 2018 for MBA/Doctoral programmes

Applicants can register themselves online through for admission to http://www.fms.edu/ from 5 October to 20 November 2017 by paying the requisite fee of Rs. 1000 for General, OBC and CW (Rs. 350 for SC/ST/PWD category) candidates.

Candidates (except those exempted from admission test) seeking admission to the doctoral programme, are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 to be conducted by Indian Institutes of Management on November 26, 2017 . Applicants may visit https://iimcat.ac.in for appearing in the Common Admission Test (CAT 2017). Short listed candidates will thereafter be required to submit the registration form to the Board of Research Studies at the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, latest by February 28, 2018.

DU FMS admission 2018 for MBA/Doctoral programmes selection process

From the shortlisted candidates, admission to MBA programme shall be based on Extempore Speech, Group Discussion, Personal Interview, Class X & Class XII marks and CAT 2017 scores as provided by CAT centre. An additional 3% of the maximum aggregate marks shall be awarded to the women candidates who appear for the interview while drawing the list of selected candidates.

Applicants may visit https://iimcat.ac.in for appearing in the Common Admission Test (CAT 2017). Applicants who have not taken CAT 2017 will not be considered for admission.
