Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa is going to conduct Goa Common Entrance test 2018 for admissions to B.E, B.Pharm, BHMS, BAMS, Allied Health Sciences, & B.Sc. in Nursing courses in the State of Goa for the academic year 2018-19. Read on to know GCET 2018 eligibility criteria, application procedure, important dates, schedule and other details to be eligible for Goa Common Entrance test 2018.
Admissions to MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy) and BAMS (Ayurveda) shall be based on NEET (UG)- 2018 (National Entrance cum Eligibility Test) to be conducted by CBSE and eligibility criteria prescribed by MCI AND DCI. However State Government has requested Min. of AYUSH, Govt. of India to permit admissions BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy) and BAMS (Ayurveda) courses to be carried out on basis of GCET-2018 and If get approved, admissions to these courses shall be carried out on GCET-2018 based Merit List. Hence, intending applicants to BHMS and BAMS courses are advised to appear at GCET-2018 also, and submit Form B.
Admissions to B.Arch. course shall be on the basis of scores obtained at NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by Council of Architecture, and qualifying exam(Std. XIIth/HSSC.)
Goa Common Entrance test 2018 eligibility criteria
Age limit– An applicant to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2018.
Educational qualification for B.Sc. in Nursing– Applicants should have passed HSSC (qualifying exam) in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40 % for SC, ST and OBC only) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category.
Educational qualification for B.E– Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (XII) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry /Bio-Technology/Computer Science /Biology, and secured not less than 45% marks (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only) in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology.

How to apply for Goa Common Entrance test 2018
GCET 2018 online application form can be obtained from Directorate of Technical Education website www.dtegoa.gov.in.
Send the duly filled application form at notified locations as per Centre opted along with application fee of Rs. 1500/- payable vide demand draft drawn in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji – Goa, on any Scheduled Bank, and three identical photographs as indicated, and other relevant certificates (self-attested photo copies), to obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee. The applicant is advised to personally submit the Application Form complete in all respects on or before the last date specified.
GCET 2018 Important dates
Submission of application forms for GCET 18 (FORM A) & Collecting Admit Cards will starts in April, 2018

Goa Common Entrance test 2018 exam pattern and syllabus
GCET 2018 is going to conduct in various Centres, across Goa State, in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry , Maths and Biology, based on Std. XIIth syllabus prescribed in these subjects by Goa Board, for March 2018 examination. Each paper shall consist of 75 (Seventy Five) questions, of one mark each, to be answered in two hours, with no negative.
