Jammu Kashmir Common Entrance Test- JKCET 2019 for BE/BTech admission

Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) is inviting online applications for Jammu Kashmir Common Entrance Test 2019 for admission to Engineering Courses offered by the institutes/colleges in the State for academic session 2019-2020. Jammu Kashmir Common Entrance Test 2019 eligibility criteria

To apply for JKCET 2019 candidate must be be permanent residents of J&K State as defined in Section 6 of the Constitution of J&K.

Age limit- The candidates must be at least 17 years old on or before 31 December 2019.

Educational Qualification– Candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized statutory Board/University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (40% in aggregate for reserved categories). Candidate have passed 10+2 examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their elective subjects for admission to Bachelor of Engineering Courses.

How to apply for Jammu Kashmir Common Entrance Test 2019

Eligible candidates can apply online at http://www.jakbopee.org/  from February 2019.  JKCET 2019 application fee of Rs. 800 (Rupees eight hundred only) can be submitted either online through “Integrated Payment Gateway” with the help of any national Credit Card/Debit Card/facility.

Applicants, who don’t have internet facility, may avail this facility at the Help Desk of I.T. Section of BOPEE with prior telephonic appointment, on nominal fee of Rs. 100/- on any working day at the below mentioned BOPEE offices:

  • BOPEE Office, Bhagat-i-Barzulla,opposite J&K Bank, Srinagar-190005 (11 A.M. to 5 P.M.)
  • BOPEE Office, 4th Floor, South Block, Bahu Plaza, Jammu-180012 (11 A.M. to 5 P.M.)

The candidates have to submit Online Application Form and the original attested photocopies of Permanent Resident Certificate, Marks Certificate with other certificates at the time of counselling.

  • Starting date to apply for Jammu Kashmir Common Entrance Test 2019-  February 2019
  • Last date to submit JKCET 2019 Application Form- March, 2019
  • JKCET 2019 exam date-  April, 2019

Jammu Kashmir Common Entrance Test 2019 exam pattern

CET shall consist of a single paper with three sections comprising of Physics and Chemistry and Mathematics with 180 questions (60 questions from each section). The questions shall be multiple choice objective type with one mark each. There will be 0.25 negative marks for each wrong answer.
