Jammu Kashmir Polytechnic Admission 2018 eligibility criteria
Candidate must be permanent resident of the State as defined in section 6 of the Constitution of the J&K.
Educational Qualification– Candidate must have passed Secondary School Examination (10 class examination or equivalent examination) with 40% marks (37% for reserved category) from a recognized statutory Board. The candidates appearing/appeared in 10th class examination can also apply for the Entrance Test.

Application of fee of Rs. 400 (Four hundred only) can be paid online through the HDFC integrated Payment Gateway which can be used to make payment with any national Credit Card/Debit Card/ or by downloading online generated Bank Challan of J&K Bank/HDFC Bank for depositing the fee amount, in any branch of J&K Bank or HDFC Bank, directly in the BOPEE Account.

Jammu Kashmir Polytechnic Admission 2018 exam pattern
The Entrance Test shall be held at the centres as may be specified by the Board in the cities of Srinagar and Jammu on 1 April, 2018.
There shall be only one paper in the entrance test having 180 questions of one mark each from the subjects English=30, Physics=50, Chemistry=30 and Mathematics=70 with time duration of 3.00 hours. The questions are based on knowledge, understanding and application of the relevant subject that a student of 10th standard is expected to possess. All questions are compulsory. There are 0.2 negative marks for every wrong answer. A candidate having less than ten (10) marks shall not be considered for admission.
