Directorate of Technical Education Nagaland is inviting online application for admission to Three year Diploma courses offered in the Polytechnics of Nagaland for academic session 2017-2018. Selection will be made on the basis of the result of Entrance Examination only. Nagaland Diploma Entrance Exam 2018 eligibility criteria
Candidate must have passed HSLC/10+ passed with minimum aggregate of 45% in Maths and Science and also passed in both Maths & Science separately OR passed HSSLC/12+ Passed with minimum aggregate of 40% marks.
For admission 15% reservation shall be made for Backward Tribes on the basis of One Tribe one seat as per merit in the Diploma Entrance Exam. 10% reservation shall be made for the women Candidates. 3% special reservation shall be made for differently abled candidates with valid documents.
How to apply for Nagaland DEE 2018
Eligible candidates can obtain the Nagaland DEE 2018 application form from the Polytechnic with in Nagaland and from the Office of the Directorate of Technical Education, Kohima after the declaration of the HSLC/HSSLC results.
Applicants are required to deposit Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred) only, (non-refundable) in cash for each form. Candidates are required to submit their forms to the Office of the Directorate of Technical Education, Kohima with following documents-
• Two recent passport size photographs (3.5cm / 3cm),
• Admit Card and Mark sheet of HSLC/HSSLC
• Scheduled Tribe, Indigenous Inhabitant of Nagaland and Backward Tribe Certificates as applicable duly attested

Nagaland Diploma Entrance Exam 2018 exam pattern and syllabus
The Entrance Examination will consist of one paper of 100 MCQs (100 marks) with marks distribution in the ratio of: 35:35:15:15 (Maths : Science : English : G.K) within Class-X syllabus. G.K. shall also cover current national and international events.
Those Candidates who have scored a minimum 35% in Diploma Entrance Examination shall be eligible for selection. Selection will depend on the position in the merit list and availability of seat in the Diploma Program(s) of candidate stated preference(s).
