OUAT Common Entrance Examination 2018- OUAT CET 2018

Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) is inviting online applications for Common Entrance Examination 2018 going to conduct on 4 June, 2018 for admission into undergraduate courses in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Fishery Science, Community Science & Forestry offered by OUAT affiliated college/universities in state for academic year 2018-2019. OUAT Common Entrance Examination 2018 eligibility criteria

Age limit– Candidate must have completed 17 years age as on 31 December, 2018.

Educational qualification– Students must have passed 10+2 exam with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/PH candidates) with PCM/PCB. Students admitted into B.Sc. (H) Agriculture/ B.Sc. (H) Horticulture /B.Sc. (H) Forestry /B.Sc. (H) Community Science without having Mathematics or Biology at the +2 level will have to make up their deficiency by taking pre-requisite courses in the subject (Mathematics / Biology) to be offered during the first two semesters.

How to apply for OUAT CET 2018

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM-A

Candidates can submit online applications through www.ouat.nic.in or https://www.lokaseba-odisha.in by clicking a link “Submission of Application Form-A for Common Entrance Examination-2017 by Agro-Polytechnic students of OUAT” from 01 April to 10 May, 2018. After submission of online application, the candidate will receive a login ID, Password and application number by email and SMS to the registered mobile number.

Application fee of Rs. 1050.00 (Rupees one thousand fifty only) can be paid through online payment gateway using internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card of any Bank. Online submission and Payment in cash can also be made through Common Service Centre (Jana Seva Kendra). After successful payment, the candidate can take printout of computer generated filled Application Form-A with payment details for future reference.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM-B

After appearing at the Entrance Examination, the candidates have to submit Form-‘B’ online and upload necessary documents and testimonials from 08 June to 22 June, 2018. Submission of online Application Form-B is compulsory to admission into Under Graduate Courses under OUAT.

After the declaration of result of Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic under OUAT, candidate should access Form-B in website www.ouat.nic.in or https://www.lokaseba-odisha.in clicking on a link “Submission of Online Application Form-B For U.G. Courses 2018-19 By OUAT Agro Polytechnic Pass Out Students” and entering his/her Entrance Examination Roll Number, Mobile Number and Date of Birth.

Admit Cards for OUAT CET 2018 has to be downloaded from OUAT website www.ouat.nic.in or https://www.lokasebaodisha.in by clicking on a link “Download Admit Card for U.G. Entrance Examination-2018 by Agro-Polytechnic students of OUAT” and entering his/her Application Number, Mobile Number and Date of Birth from 1 June to 11 June,2018 (9.00 a.m.) .

OUAT CET 2018 selection process and test pattern

There will be a Common Entrance Examination for selection of the candidates for admission into undergraduate courses. The candidates for admission will be selected solely on the basis of Merit (Weighted Score) which is based on his/her academic career and performance in the Entrance Examination.

For admission to B.Sc. (H) Forestry Course candidate should qualify Physical Endurance Test to be conducted one day before their respective day of the counselling of each category. There will be endurance test of brisk walking of 25 km for male and 14 km for female within four hours and the candidates should posses the minimum physical standard as set by university.

The Entrance Examination will be of multiple choice questions (MCQ) for 200 marks of two hours duration and the medium of Examination will be English. Candidates are to answer Physics, Chemistry and either Mathematics or Biology. There is no negative mark for wrong answer.

• Physics- 66 marks
• Chemistry- 66 marks
• Mathematics/Biology- 68 marks
