Punjab Agricultural University Admission is inviting online application from residents of Punjab or Union Territory of Chandigarh for admission to all Undergraduate, Masters’ and Diploma courses except for MBA offered by universities and its affiliated colleges for academic session 2018-2019. Admission will be made on the basis of the entrance test as mentioned below. How to apply for Punjab Agricultural University Admission 2018 online
Online mode- Eligible candidates can apply online for through Punjab Agricultural University website i.e. www.pau.edu and click the following link page: “ PAU ADMISSION, 2018-19 ONLINE ENTRANCE TEST APPLICATION FORM” from April 2018. After filling the application form, the candidate is required to click the ‘SUBMIT’ button. A verification link will be sent to the candidate’s Email ID, click on the verification link to complete submission process of the application. After successful verification, the candidate has to login using his E-mail ID and Date of Birth in order to download & print the application form and pay application fees.
Applicants have to pay Rs. 4840/- for each Entrance Test that includes the cost of downloaded form/ Prospectus through credit card / debit card / net banking. To submit the fee through Challan mode, download the Bank Challan Form of Punjab National Bank. Take the printout of Challan and visit any branch of the above mentioned bank with the relevant Challan Form in order to deposit fee as mentioned on Challan Form. After depositing the fee, the bank will return two parts of the Challan Form duly stamped with journal number. Send the University Copy of the Challan Form along with computer generated print-out of application form as mentioned below.
Send the transaction statement along with computer generated print-out of application form duly signed by the candidate and his/her parents/guardian to The Registrar, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana -141 004 clearly mentioning the name of entrance test on the envelope on or before the last date of receipt of application forms.

Prospectus and application form can be obtained from The Additional Director of Communication, Centre for Communication and International Linkages, PAU, Ludhiana – 141 004 (near University Gate Number 1) personally on payment of Rs. 1930/- in cash at the counter or by post by sending bank draft of Rs. 2070/- in favour of Additional Director of Communication, payable at Ludhiana.
Applicants have to pay Rs. 3470/- for each Entrance Test in addition to cost of the Prospectus (Rs. 1930/- at the Counter or Rs. 2070 by Post)

Punjab Agricultural University Admission 2018 eligibility criteria
For Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT 2018) – Admission to B.Sc. (H) Agriculture of 6 years duration will be made on the basis of the PAU Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT 2018). Candidate must have passed Matriculation or equivalent with at least 65% marks in aggregate in compulsory subjects.
For Common Entrance Test (CET 2018) – Admission to B.Sc (H) Agriculture/B.Tech (Biotechnology)/B.Tech (Food Technology)/B.Sc. (H) Community Science/B.Sc. (H) Nutrition and Dietetics / Integrated M.Sc. (H) in Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, Zoology programmes will be made on the basis of the PAU Common Entrance Test (CET 2017). Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/ Agri-culture with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates with Home Science at 10+2 level are also eligible for B.Sc. (H) Community Science Programme
For Masters Entrance Test (MET 2018) – Admission to M.Sc. programmes in offered discipline will be made on the basis of the Masters Entrance Test (MET 2018). Candidate must have OCPA of 6.00 or 60% marks or equivalent at the Graduation level in respective discipline (s).
For PhD Entrance Test (PET 2018) – Admission to M.Sc. programmes in offered discipline will be made on the basis of the Masters Entrance Test (MET 2018). Candidate must have an OCPA of 7.00 or 70% marks or equivalent at Master’s level and an OCPA of 5.50 or 55% marks or equivalent at Bachelor’s level in respective discipline (s).
There will be not entrance test for admission to Diploma Course in Hybrid Seed Production Technology/ Diploma in Agriculture/ M.Tech. Remote Sensing & Geographic Information System (GIS), admission will be made on the basis of merit in qualifying exam (Matric/ Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in required discipline) followed by Counselling/Interview conduct by concern institutes/colleges.
